

She was born to the late Floyd and Beatrice Blackwell of Forsyth, Missouri, on October 6, 1940, in Powersite, Missouri. Iris graduated high school in 1958 from School of the Ozarks.
Iris and her husband Arnold retired to Grants Pass from Tucson, AZ in 1999 where they enjoyed being campground host and the changing seasons.
Iris is survived by daughters. Bobbie Beecher of League City, TX. Paula Clark and husband Rick of Grants Pass OR, and stepson Scott Hollenbeak of Arizona. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Carol Beaman of Missouri and Margaret Pedroza of Arizona. She is proceeded in death by her husband Arnold Hollenbeak, her son Freddie Gregg, stepsons Rick and Jamie Hollenbeak and stepdaughter Cathy Smith. She is also proceeded in death by her brothers Doug Blackwell, Dan Blackwell, Darrel Blackwell and Dwight Blackwell.
Iris loved walking her dog Jenny by the Rogue River, reading was her passion, she enjoyed water aerobics, which she did faithfully 3 days a week for 24 years. She was an avid bingo and bunco player and any other games she could get people to play with her. But most of all she enjoyed telling all of us what to do. She will be truly missed.
There will be a celebration of life at Chapel of the Valley on Saturday January 13, 2024 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow at Taprock (Evergreen Room).
