Robert Emery Lee Sr. Longtime Grants Pass resident Robert E Lee passed away peacefully on October 31st, 2017 in Longview, WA. A funeral service was held on November 17th, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Robert was born on February 10th, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee. He served in the US Army from 1950 to 1953. On June 29th, 1949 he married Norma Jean Hughes. Norma preceded his death in 2002. They moved to Grants Pass in 1968 from Los Angeles, California. Prior to his retirement, he was a career truck driver and enjoyed seeing every state in the country. Survivors include Richard Lee of Longview, WA, Clarisa Shepard of Grants Pass, OR, Ruth Bowes of Fort Worth, TX, Charles Lee of Grants Pass, OR, Candice Rood of Selma, OR, 15 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Two sons, Robert and Michael, passed away prior to Robert and Norma. Professional services conducted by Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Home.
