To the Baricelli Family,

Let me first offer my very belated condolences for the loss of Alferio. Reading that he was married for 61 years and was blessed that he lived long enough to see even great grandchildren...I think we should all be so lucky. :)

I'm also writing because I believe Alferio may be my great uncle. My name is Nevin Barich. My grandfather was named William and I'm told that our last name used to be Baricelli before my grandpa changed it to Barich after World War II. I never met William (he died in 1970, nine years before I was born) but my Grandma Barbara (William's wife) told me much about him before she passed in 2003. The two of them met in New York and relocated to California, where they raised two children (Bob and David).

My father's name is Bob Barich and he told me about two half-brothers he had: Julio and Alferio. I'm wondering if Alferio was one of those brothers.
