

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Alvin Thomas "Tommy" Johnson Jr., 64, of North Richland Hills passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at a North Hills hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 S. Main St., Grapevine. Private burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Tommy was born and raised in Fort Worth. Before retirement he stayed busy selling cars, racing jet boats, and building race cars. After retirement he spent his time laughing and singing with his family, aggravating his wife and playing poker. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He adored his wife, Jan, and he took great pride in his son, Brian. Nothing in the world compared to his love for his four grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his big personality, wonderful sense of humor and his ability to always get a winning hand at poker or 42. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jana Marlin; mother, Dorothy Killough; father, Leonard Killough; and older sister, Carolyn Crews. Survivors: His wife, Janice; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kim; and grandchildren, Layla, Austin, Aston and Lucas.
