Ann Elizabeth Spencer Harrison was born on April 25, 1946 and died on July 12, 2017 of cancer. She has been survived by her four sons Brian, Jeff, Doug, and Kevin, along with two grandchildren Audrey and Olive. Ann grew up in Welda, Kansas where she learned from her mother how to make quilts and bake amazing homemade dishes. Ann had a true passion for raising children and had the chance to spend 53 years raising them, with a highlight of helping to take care of her first grandchild. Ann was an active member of the prayer shawl community at her church and was proud of the 75 prayer shawls she made that made their way all over the world. As per the request from Ann Harrison, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the prayer shawl community at Grapevine Methodist Church. Ann lived her life with an open heart full of love that she shared with everyone she met. Her door was always open with the expectation that you help yourself to all the homemade goodies in her kitchen and listen to a story (or five), even if you’ve heard them before. Ann’s love will be felt by many for years to come.
