Lina Finau, 45 of Grapevine, passed away May 14, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends. Lina, who is of Tongan descent, was born in American Samoa, December 27, 1969 to her parents, Peni Tonga Taualupe and Sesilia Alama Tatofi. Lina was a member First United Methodist Church of Grapevine and was also involved with the Tongan Community at Martin United Methodist of Bedford. She is survived by her husband, Kitione Finau; son, Kit Finau, Jr.; daughters, Sela Finau, Utther Finau, Sesilia Finau, Mosiana Finau and Melane Finau all of Grapevine; her parents Peni and Sesilia Taualupe of Hawaii; her sisters, Mele Helu of Euless, Akesa Taualupe of California and Ana Taualupe of Hawaii; her brothers, Peni Taualupe, Jr. of Hawaii, Pulotu Taualupe of California, Niuvao Taualupe of Hawaii and Tupou Taualupe of Hawaii; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be at First United Methodist Church Grapevine, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 4 – 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at First United Methodist Church of Grapevine, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
