Bessie Mae Peters

On Friday morning, October 6, 2023, at the age of 84, Bessie Mae Peters went to her forever home to be with her sweet Jesus, whom she loves so much. Bessie passed very peacefully, at home, with her family by her side, listening to her Christian music.

Beloved wife, mom, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and very dear friend to many. Bessie was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on July 16, 1939. She moved to Texas in 1959, where she met her wonderful husband, John Peters, of 66 years.

She loved welcoming friends and family to her home, sharing her christian faith and traveling with her husband.

Bessie will be greatly missed by her loved ones; Husband John Peters, Daughters Tammy Kolar and husband Junior, Terri Lynne, sisters Norma and Phyllis, Brother-in-law Charles Peters and wife Sylvia, Jim Peters and wife Mary, Grandson Jimmy Glynn Brinkley and wife Christy, Granddaughters Amanda Alesha'Ann, Erika Ashley, Eight Great Grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bessie Mae will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051, followed by burial at 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
