Bobby Frank Norris

Bobby Frank Norris was born July 10, 1934 in McKinney, Texas, the son of Homer and Willie Claborn Norris. He passed from this life January 8, 2015 in Grapevine, at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 29 days. Bobby was a retired airline mechanic. He enjoyed tinkering with any type of engine. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Bobby and Gerldean Vest were united in marriage on February 3, 1956 and they had lived in the Grapevine Community for the past 56 years. He was a member of the Church at the Cross in Grapevine. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Norris. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gerldean Norris of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Jacky Helms of Grapevine; son, Keith Norris of Justin; granddaughters, Rachel Helms , Whitney Fisher and husband Chip; siblings, Betty Phipps of Garland, Cecil Norris and wife Clara of Prosper, Charlsie Gracy of Weston, Ruby Crump and husband Bill of McKinney, Wanda Carter of Garland, Robbie Morris and husband Joe of Huntsville, Jack Norris and wife Robin of Savannah, Carolyn Riveria and husband Fidel of Celina, Anita Kelly and husband Gayle also of Celina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Othalal Vest and wife Lonita of Sherman, Lanell Holiman and husband Doyle of Frisco, Dennis Vest and wife Jerrie of Celina, Delbert Vest and wife Shirley of Denison, Ronnie Vest and wife Linda of Celina, Lynda Humbarger also of Celina, Kathy Rasor and husband Johnny of Gunter, Charlotte DuPree and husband Gary of Irving, Donald Vest and wife Julie of Prosper, and Rita Holbrook and husband Mike of Bowie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3 to 5pm at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:30 am at the J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:30pm at the Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina.
