

David Kiff was born October 8, 1964 in Brunswick, Georgia, the son of Robert and Suzanne (Wells) Kiff. He passed from this life January 28, 2015 in Grapevine, at the age of 50. He had lived in Grapevine since 1996. David and Cheryl Ewing were united in marriage on June 10, 1995 in Irving, Texas. He was a 1987 graduate of Southern Arkansas University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. David was an avid sports fan and talented artist. He was affiliated with the Grapevine First United Methodist Church and he enjoyed attending Boy Scout functions with his sons. He and his wife Cheryl were active volunteers for the Main Street Days and Grapefest to benefit Boy Scout Troop 700 and the Colleyville Heritage High School Band. David was preceded in death by his parents. SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife Cheryl Kiff of Grapevine; sons, Ethan Austin Kiff, Michael Robert Kiff and Thomas Arthur Kiff all of Grapevine; brother, Keith Kiff and wife Christine of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Bob Kiff and sister, Denise Kiff both of Dumas, Arkansas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Diane Ewing of Irving, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Michelle and Jim Corton of Kuwait and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held 2pm Sunday, February 8, 2015 at J.E. Foust Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow. A difficult decision by his wife Cheryl concerning donation, was made easier knowing that David’s final act of generosity and kindness was his selfless act of giving life saving tissue. His corneal tissue will give the gift of sight to two persons. Because of that act, David’s legacy will live on in others. A memorial donation in David’s name may be made to Boy Scouts of America - Troop 700, c/o Millie Ferri, 2913 Sweetbriar, Grapevine, Texas 76051.
