Dovie Florene "Flo" Thomas

Flo loved the outdoors, whether camping, fishing, or picking up pecans she was happiest when sharing these activities with the ones she loved. Her enthusiasm for these activities will be carried on for generations to come.

Flo is preceded in death by her husband J.W. “Bud” Thomas; her daughter Charlotte Morgan; her son Jerry Thomas; her daughter Lisa Speights; her father Clyde and mother Charlotte Fine; brothers Bill Fine and William Henry Fine; sisters Lula Mae Parrish, Bertha Griffay, Cassie Jones, and Rheba Meyers.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Bobby Thomas of Roanoke, Texas, daughter Linda Dennis of Justin, Texas, daughter Brenda Thomas, Roanoke, Texas, daughter Laneta Gayoso of Ft Worth, Texas, son Randy Thomas of Roanoke, Texas, son David Miaso of Era, Texas and 164 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Florene will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051.

A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Historic Parrish Family Cemetery, 746 Cardinal Ln, Coppell, TX 75019.
