

Eddie Price, 83, of Trophy Club, TX went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was born in McHenry, Kentucky, on April 14, 1932. He married the love of his life, Patricia Lewis on August 31, 1951, after a short courtship of three months. They celebrated 64½ happy years of marriage. Their children and spouses are Tim & Toni Price of Roanoke and Nancy & Keith Beasley of Southlake. Their grandsons are Clinton and Walker Beasley of Southlake.
Eddie will always be remembered as a passionate devoted Christian, a man of integrity, loving, caring, hardworking, and a proud American that shared his faith everywhere he went. Eddie was a member of the Baptist Church. He never knew a stranger and remembered everyone by name. He was raised in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, where he played high school baseball. Over the years he kept in contact with many of his school friends. After attending high school Eddie was scouted by the Cincinnati minor league baseball team. He was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan and did not mind expressing his love for his team. Fishing, gardening, and hunting were among his favorite past-times. He taught his grandsons to fish at his sister-in-law’s ranch in Hubbard, Texas. He loved his dog, Missy, and took her to McDonald’s often in the mornings for coffee as well as to the dog park to play.
Eddie retired from FRAM Corporation after 27 years as a District Manager. He was recognized with many awards including Top Salesman in the country. He traveled the North Texas and Louisiana territory where he formed many friendships. He and wife, Patty, enjoyed traveling to many parts of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mamie & Earnest Price, one brother James Price, and sister Maxine Minton. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother Ivan Price of Michigan; sisters-in-law Janice & Everett Schnowske of Illinois and Leslie & Clinton Goodman of Kentucky; God-daughter Kris Koepp of Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces & nephews.
A memorial celebration of Eddie’s life will be held Saturday, April 2nd, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist of Argyle, 414 North Highway 377, Argyle, TX 76226.
