They were married for 70 years. They eventually moved their family to Roebling, NJ where they spent most of their lives together.
Evelyn was a loving and dedicated wife and mother, and she enjoyed her role as a stay-at-home mom. She was active in the community, her children’s interests and schools including a board position on the PTA. She was a great cook and baker and loved having her children’s friends over. If there was a homecoming float to be built, theatre costumes to be made or prom decorations to be designed, it was always at her home.
As her children aged, Evelyn resumed her career with Land O Lakes, first as an office manager and advancing to distribution center manager. Her greatest joys were visits to her children who ended up in different parts of the country, cooking for her family and collecting antiques. Evelyn was also a devout Roman Catholic.
Evelyn has left behind many wonderful memories for her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed.
