He was a Mentor of great proportions.  I am a retired Sheriff's Sergeant  from a Florida Sheriff's Office.  He will be ever in my prayers.

Frank was one of the nicest and friendly people that I have ever met.  He could be serious at times but also so very funny. (He showed me how a Polak pulls up his socks.  I've tried doing it and fell on my face) Frank placed his family first and the love of his life Marlene always spoke so highly of him.  Frank you will be missed by many . Your soul will be in my prayers

This is very difficult for me to write, because my father-in-law for 39 plus years, Frank Korywchak, was the most influential man in my life from my late teenage years into adulthood.  I had the privilege of meeting Frank at the age of 16, when his daughter Carol and I began dating.  From the first time I met him, he was always very kind and welcoming with me.  I will never forget the grace he extended toward me when Carol became pregnant with our first child, Kristi, at the age of 17.  Through his love and support, along with my mother-in-law, Marlene Korywchak’s love and support, Carol and I were able to make it through what could have been a very difficult situation.
After Kristi was born, I remember the times Frank would get out of bed in the middle of the night to hold and rock Kristi back to sleep when Carol and I were unsuccessful in our attempts.  He always had that special touch that only a loving grandfather has.  He always loved babies and loved holding them.  And, babies loved him, as well.  
I never had a really good steak until I had one that Frank cooked on his Weber grill.  He was the “master” at grilling and, he loved doing it. As others have stated, he was ALWAYS the last to sit down to eat.  He made sure that everyone else was fed before he would eat.  He loved his family gatherings and was never happier than watching everyone, especially his grandkids, swim in their pool.  I very rarely would see him get into it to swim.  He just seemed to be happy and content to watch everyone else having fun and enjoying it. 
When it comes to family and marriage, Frank has been my greatest role model.  As I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate that even more.  His commitment to his family and wife of 66 years, Marlene, is a testament to the kind of man Frank was.  His loving heart and his welcoming soul to everyone who entered his home is something that will be forever etched in my memory.  He is loved greatly and will be sorely missed by all.




When I was ten years old my Mom took my body measurements. I had no idea what she was doing or why????  About six weeks later I received a package in the mail from Vietnam. Inside was a Beautiful Vietnamese outfit made of silk; white pants, a purple dress, a sky blue jacket and a pair of wonderfully ornate shoes.  They were a gift from My Sweet uncle Bud. He made me feel so special . 
I still have the outfit… which reminds me what a Loving, Thoughtful, Caring Man he continues to be in My memories. I Honor Him by passing on his Kindness and Love.   Barbara 💖

My deepest sympathy to Aunt Ene and all of my cousins and their families. Uncle Bud, you will be greatly be missed. I remember my first day inTexas and you took the three of us in as our apartment was not yet ready for us. We spent many weekends at your home . You always welcomed us in and had so much good advice. Your love of family and graciousness will always remain in my heart. May you enjoy the reconnection with all of your siblings and family who have gone before you.  I know you will be at the right hand if God.  May he Bless you!  I love you!

Dad's 62nd High School Reunion.

I am incredibly grateful for having Pap as my grandfather. He's easily one of the biggest role models I have had in my life. From his work ethic, love for friends and family, as a husband for 66+ years: simply, the man he was. Living about 640 miles away from my extended family most of my life had its challenges but Gram & Pap would always reach out to us in Albuquerque. They would call me and my two sisters on our birthdays, send Christmas gifts, and our visits to Texas were always fun and I loved seeing them. So many memories swimming in the pool in the brutal Texas heat, playing billiards and darts in the gameroom, Pap always making sure everyone was happy and fed before he ate, eating Pap's steak and biscuits & gravy, the list goes on and on. I will miss you for my whole life Pap but thank you for your love and the impact you had on me.

I met Pap in 2010 shortly after I started dating Mike, his grandson. He was so kind to me and instantly treated me like family. We were fortunate enough to visit him and Gram in Texas often. Each time we were there he would insist on feeding us, keeping our drink glasses full and making us laugh which was his specialty. Now those of you who knew Frank know he was very particular about how things were cleaned, so he was always the one cleaning the kitchen. This didn’t work for me and he knew that so he let me clean the kitchen with both of us knowing full and well he would redo it all again when I left! He truly was so special!  Every laugh, meal, eye roll, and story he shared will be cherished forever. Thank you for being such an incredible person and loving me like family Pap! 🫶

Frank was a wonderful Husband and Father and a very good friend. We will miss him very much. I feel lucky to have had  him as our friend. Rest in peace Frank you had a wonderful life.

When I first met Uncle Bud, I was a young 2Lt, had to stand at Attention! 

Frank will  be truly missed. Loved getting together for the grandchildren‘s birthdays. Frank always had a big smile on his face. Frank was such a nice man. My heart goes out to all the Korywchak family. Prayers to all. 🙏🙏🙏

I have so many memories of my Dad, but the earliest memory is of the family station wagon in 1971. Dad would let me sit on his lap and steer as he managed the pedals. He would speed up real fast allowing me to believe I was controlling the car. Knowing my love for animals, horses in particular,  Dad made a makeshift saddle, stirrups and reins and attached them to a tree that grew horizontally in our backyard. I would pretend that tree was a horse everyday. I loved it! I remember him driving me to horseback riding lessons every Sunday in Hawaii. Such a beautiful drive, just the two of us. I remember him always saying "No" when I asked to take the car at age 16. I remember not liking steak when I first ordered it at a restaurant as an adult.  I realized later it was because my Dad only cooked fillets and hand trimmed the fat for our family. I remember he never ate his dinner until everyone else was fed. Him watching everyone in the pool, but he never got in! 
I remember when I had Kristi as a teenager, she would wake up in the middle of the night and just cry. Living at home the first year of her life, Dad would come in and pick Kristi up and with his gentle grandfather way, rock her back to sleep. Gosh, so many things. I loved my Dad. I will be sad for many days to come, I'll cry here and there, but I can proudly say, "I had the best Dad EVER!" I'll see you again in Heaven one day.

Lol...Mom didn't remember Dad doing yard work but I do. He was teaching me to take over.
