Imogene Joylene Turbyfill

HURST -- Imogene Joylene (Douglas) Turbyfill, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, went home to be with Lord on March 23, 2016. Graveside Service: 3:30 PM Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends from noon to 2:30PM Tuesday April 5, 2016 at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home Grapevine, Texas. Joy was born April 24, 1930 to Elbert Douglas and Jessie Bearden Douglas Turbyfill in Texarkana, AR and graduated from Arkansas High School. She married Joe G. Turbyfill on December 25, 1949. They were married 57 years. They were blessed with two daughter, JoAnn and Jennifer. She was a cafeteria worker and manager for the Hurst Euless Bedford School District for over 20 years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe "Bill"; parents, Elbert and Jessie; and brother, Bob Douglas. Joy is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Winton, Jennifer L. Adams and son-in-law John Q. Adams; grandchildren, Garath Winton, Meghan Lopez and her husband Jackson, Christin Adams, and Olivia Adams; great-grandsons, Logan Lopez and Josiah Adams; sisters, Linda Eaves and her husband Randy Eaves and Sue Lynch; and many nieces and nephews. Joy loved her family dearly.
