We think about you often but know we will see you again.

We miss you very much, Jim. You are always in our thoughts. Never ever forgotten!!! love you very much.

My forever love, Jim,
I miss you so much. You are on my mind and in my heart every day. All our memories and the love we shared keeps me going. It is so hard to believe you have been in heaven for four years. What keeps me going are the words you said to me about a week before you passed: “Keep your eyes on Jesus.” And as long as I do this, I will get to be with you, my love, forever and ever.

Spent a week on his the sail boat sailing Chesapeake Bay. I was about 13 years old. Too young to really understand how special it was. Looking back now, it was an experience of a life time. Love you Jim xoxo

Dear Barbara and family-
I very much enjoyed working with and for Jim at Fort Worth Center. It sounds like he had a wonderful retirement and so glad you had so many wonderful years together, although it’s never enough. I know he loved you all very much.
With love -
Mary Hokit

Our thoughts and prayer go out to Barbara and all of the family who are mourning him today. Jim was a wonderful human being in every respect and all of us that had that opportunity to know him are better for it. It was always a privilege to get to talk to him about his life experiences and the great adventures he had and shared with others. Was a great inspiration to see first hand through Jim what setting your mind to accomplish can be done with some hard work, grit, determination, and love. Jim will be sorely missed but his legacy will persevere in every life that he touched. So glad to know that Jim is in a better place where the physical pain and difficulties of this world are no longer an encumbrance for him. I know that he is touching others right now in heaven like he did for so many here on earth.

I can still remember my Aunt Barbara introducing me to her "Jimmy". Barbara was as giddy as a school girl and Jim was equally enamored with her. From the moment we met, Jim embraced our family and always went out of his way to take an active interest in what was going on in our lives. He was one of the warmest, most genuine and knowledgeable people that I have ever met. We will miss him so much.

It was such an honor to meet your dad. What a wonderful man. Our prayers are with you.

I will miss my uncle Jim and all the joy he brought in peoples lives, and how he always knew how to brighten up a room just by shining a smile. Your niece, Aubrey Meyers-Walstead

Jim was so very special and my favorite memory was with him and Barbara on their sailboat sailing the Chesapeake Bay dodging the crab pots. We had such a wonderful time as we always did over the years. He was a special part of our family! We will miss him so very much! Craig & Elaine Weldon

We will always remember the close friendship that the four of us had. (Good News Church, Footprints’s Small Group and of course Schooner’s.). We fondly remember Jim’s Air Traffic Controller stories about his exploits. With Jim’s faith in Jesus, we know that he is with Him now. Pat and Tom Joehl

To my Horn cousins,
I have the fondest memories of your Father when I moved to Texas. Both your parents were very influential in my christian growth & walk in The Lord.
I will always remember Jim's sense of humor & funny stories he shared whenever I was visiting at yall's home.

Jim, I will miss your smile and the stories of your great adventures and travels. You were truly a gentleman and a special part of our family. Thank you for your service to our country . Rest In Peace . See you soon Willa and Denny Meyers

The first time I met you I knew you would be a wonderful friend and brother in law and you were. I loved your smile and the way we could joke around. I loved traveling with you and Barbara to different places. You will always be remembered in my heart. I’ll meet you in heaven. All my love, Doreen Marquez

Gone from our sight but never our memories! Jim you will always hold a special place in our hearts!

My precious Jimmie and the love of my life.
I will miss your love, devotion, and care for me.
You were and still are the love of my life and my best friend, and I can’t wait to be with you in heaven soon.
Barbara

Jim was a good friend. He was one of the kindest, most genuine person ever! He was happy spending his retirement traveling--sailing, RVing,flying-- with Barbara by his side. He had an interesting, wonderful life. He will be missed! 💔Patrick and Linda Marsella ❤️
