Jeffrey Jay Corbett

Jeffrey Corbett was born on April 21, 1969 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to James Jay and Lavonne Kay Corbett. He grew up in Cedar Falls, and in Dallas, Texas, attending J.J. Pearce High School and Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, where he was a proud member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

On January 24, 2009, he married Misty Dawn Williams - Rollins, and together they shared 16 years of marriage. They built a life together for the last 20 years filled with many shared passions, and love of family, friends, music, and travels.

Throughout his career, Jeffrey Corbett worked as a Business Development Manager for several firms including Thomas Reuters, Engineering Systems Inc., and Rimkus Consulting Groups. He also immensely enjoyed his many guy adventures over the years with his best friends to Candelaria, The Pecos River, The L5, the Marshall Ranch and more. Jeff will be remembered for kindness, humor, and devotion to the many people he loved, and that loved him right back.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Misty Corbett, and bonus son Garrett Rollins (Shea), sisters Chris Corbett (Rex Anderson), Karen Morvay (Steven), Father and Mother in law Dwaine Williams (Kathy), Sisters in law Mandy Lubbeck (Joey), and Melany Esberger (Jim) nephews, Nicholas and Spencer Morvay, Bryson Mejorado, and Gabe Esberger, and niece, Lizzie Esberger. He was preceded in death by his Father James Corbett, and his Mother, Lavonne Corbett.

We invite you to celebrate Jeffrey's life on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Paradise Cove on Lake Grapevine. Casual attire is welcome, and wearing red, white, or blue would be a special tribute to his patriotic spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sigma Tau - Gamma Pi Foundation, in memory of Jeffrey Corbett.
