Jimmy Arnold

James “Jimmy” Arnold, Jr was born on November 27, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, to James Bruce and Randy Marguerite Arnold. From the very beginning, Jimmy lived life with a generous heart, a contagious personality, and a love for the people around him that only grew stronger with time.

Jimmy graduated from Carroll High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He proudly carried on his father’s legacy by working in the family business, where he embodied the values his father had instilled in him—leading with integrity, loyalty, and a deep commitment to family.

Above all else, Jimmy was a loving husband, an amazing father, a devoted son, and a cherished brother, uncle, and friend. He was the kind of person who could walk into a room and somehow become the center of attention without ever trying. His larger-than-life personality, quick wit, and genuine love for people made him unforgettable. Jimmy was truly the life of the party and brought laughter and energy wherever he went.

He loved being surrounded by family and friends and treasured family get-togethers, vacations, games, sports, golf, football, and live music—especially Raised Right Men. Whether he was cheering from the sidelines, playing a game, enjoying a vacation, or simply gathered around a table with the people he loved, Jimmy knew how to make every moment count.

Jimmy loved life—and he lived it large. He had an incredible ability to find joy in the everyday and make memories wherever he went. His love extended to his beloved animals, who were such an important part of his life: his dogs Garth, Daisy, Augustus, Nell, Poe, Oliver, and Jolene; his horses, Pistol Pete and Skip; and his goats, Nick 2, 4, Miney, and Roxie.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Bruce Arnold; his grandparents, Sam and Marguerite Strangi; and his grandparents, Sidney and Billie Arnold.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Amy Arnold; his beloved son, Luke James Arnold; his mother, Randy Marguerite Arnold; his sister, Stacy Ervin and husband Mike; his sister, Shannon Leonard and husband Sean; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who were blessed to know and love him.

Jimmy’s time on this earth was far too short, but the love, laughter, stories, and memories he created will never be forgotten. His presence will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

He lived big, loved fiercely, laughed often, and left an everlasting mark on all of us.
