Johnnie Cummins, 85, of Grapevine, TX, passed away December 27th, 2018. She was born in Lufkin, TX on March 23rd, 1933. Johnnie Cummins graduated from Hudson High School and received an honorary doctorate from Trinity Valley Bible Academy. She was married to Rev. Darwin Cummins on August 7th, 1949. Johnnie was a godly woman who served the Lord for over 50 years alongside her husband.
She was survived by daughters Linda Anderson (husband Bob), Deborah Tucker (husband Art) and Dianne Clark (husband Jim); sons Mark Cummins (wife Cecilia) and Duane Cummins (wife Karen); grandchildren Nicole Land, Toby Tucker, Zack Anderson, Simon Anderson, Ben Tucker, Nathan Clark, Adam Clark, Justin Cummins, Cassie Goodwin, Patricia Teague, Joseph Cummins, Joy Jones, Micki Augustus, Johnna Gordon; and 24 great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Darwin Cummins and her precious mother, Rena Pitts.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM, December 30th, 2018, at Meadow Creek Baptist Church, 2503 Bedford Rd, Bedford, TX, 76021.
