Leonard Wayne Russell

Leonard Wayne Russell, born January 19, 1956, in Grapevine, Texas, passed away on December 8, 2025, while in comfort care at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine. Leonard was deeply loved by many and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Bailey Russell, and his mother, Shirley Arlene Russell.

He is survived by his sisters, Connie Louise Landeck and Sharon Arlene Russell, and his brother, Jimmy Leon Russell. Leonard also leaves behind his beloved children:

Tiffany Deline Ramirez, Heather Lynn Russell, Dustin Wayne Russell, Chelsey Kay Tucker and Sky Bailey King.

Leonard was the grandfather to Jose Luis Ramirez Jr., Yvonna DeLynn Ramirez, Russell Luis Ramirez, Adam Rajab Zatout, Braylen Christopher Thomas Tucker, Elijah Noel Tucker and Aurora King.

Leonard was an independent self-starter businessman. From 2005 until the present, he was the owner and operator of Get-er-Done Roofing, serving as a roofing and general contractor known for his dedication to quality. Prior to that, Leonard worked as an A&P Mechanic for Southwest Airlines, a role that he was very proud of.

Leonard attended International Aviation and Travel School and was a graduate of MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas.

Leonard’s legacy lives on through his family and the many lives he touched with his humor, unique personality and steadfast love. He will be remembered always and forever missed.
