Born on June 25, 1949, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Marion was the beloved daughter of Armand and Marion LeBourdais. She graduated from Dracut High School and continued her education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Marion was a devoted member of Countryside Bible Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She was known for her generous spirit and quietly dedicated herself to helping others, whether they were in need of encouragement, practical support, or financial assistance. Her compassion extended beyond those she knew personally, as she faithfully supported organizations including Wounded Warrior Project, Union Gospel Mission, the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the Epilepsy Foundation.
Family was at the center of Marion's life. She especially loved shopping for her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, finding joy in giving to those she loved. She also looked forward to attending Women's Bible Study and never missed her weekly hair appointment, simple pleasures that brought her happiness and connection with friends.
Marion is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Briere; her son, Joe Briere; and her cherished grandchildren, Amber, Katelyn, Leah, and Ryan Briere. She is also survived by her nieces, Lara Mottolo and Stephanie Staab; her nephews, Anthony Mottolo and Patrick LeBourdais; and her cousins, Rosalie Rice and Peter Warlow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand and Marion LeBourdais, and her brother, Steve LeBourdais.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation or the American Diabetes Association, two organizations that were close to Marion's heart.
