Pamela Kay Allan nee Young, (July 27th, 1958 - October 24th, 2019) passed away surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Thursday evening. She was a loving wife to Brian Allan for 25 years and together they raised 4 children, Riley Allan, Kaylann Ryan, Chelsea Duparc, and Ryan Allan. The highlight of her life was being Gram to Nola, Lexi, Emeric, Maddux, and Brooks.

Pam graduated from North Mesquite High School, and spent her career as a local favorite in the restaurant industry frequented by many regular guests. She had a passion for family, friends, and her cats.

Pam fought valiantly for 14 years battling Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Let us remember her for her strength and courage in the face of this incurable disease and her beautiful smile that she shared generously with all her loved ones.

Pam was preceded in death by her sister Martha Morris, her father William "Pops" Young, and her mother Barbara "Nana" Young. She is survived by her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas at Foust & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to either the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation or to the SPCA.

Starla and I have a lot of fun memories with Pam at the lake. We would pull 2 tubes behind the boat and with a person on each tube, they would try to push the other person off their tube. We did this with 2 people on a tube and have chicken fights with the girls on our shoulders. Then afterwards we would have game nights in the house playing Guestures, Win Lose or Draw, or some other board game. Pam brightened every room she entered. Her beautiful smile and effervescent personality will be missed.

To my dear friend Pam, I have so many fun memories and laughs that we shared together over all these years. I will miss your beautiful smile that always greeted me, your laugh and picking up the telephone and calling you just to talk or to schedule some time to get together.

My heart breaks, but I do know one day we will meet again!

With all my love,

Trena

I always thought of Pam as so beautiful and cool with a great smile. She was a fighter and gave it all she had fighting PKD. She lives on through her children and grandchildren and will be remembered with love.
