A man of many talents who never knew a stranger, Paul “Papí”, “PaulPaul”, “Dad”, “the Love of
Lisa’s Life” Pardo lived life. Paul joined his heavenly father, Jesus, on September 5, 2021. This
year brought many obstacles to Paul and he courageously fought through each one of them,
with a grit and determination that he was so well known for. Though he is no longer with us, all
of the memories are cherished amongst the many who have known him for a few hours, weeks,
months or years.
To sum up Paul’s life, a book would need to be written, but for those that knew and loved him,
they know in many ways he lived life. Paul never sat down because there was always
something that needed to be done. He never met a stranger and would make conversations
with anyone anywhere, shortly before they would be joining family dinner the following week.
Paul was our protector, our biggest fan, our “Mr. Fix I t”, and he loved others the way Jesus loves
us.
To call Paul a restaurateur would be inaccurate, he was also an entrepreneur. Also known as
“Mr. Google”, Paul knew a little something about nearly everything. He was a handyman, a
rancher, a dog trainer, a grandpa, and a drone pilot.
Paul was a Veteran of the United States Army and received a Purple Heart as a civilian serving
in Iraq after 9/11.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Bill Pardo. Paul is survived by his soulmate, Lisa
Pardo; his three children: Nick Christoffersen and his wife Jami, and their two children Kayli and
Luke; Devon Hall; and TJ Hall and his wife Rebecca; his mother, Juanita “Suzanne” Pardo; his
brothers Joe Pardo and his wife Nancy, and Bill Pardo and his wife Jenny and their children,
Sarah and Ben. He is also survived by his primas in Guadalajara, Mexico and their families. As
well as his furry companions, Bull, Lily, and JoJo.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to one of Paul’s favorite charities (or a charity of
your choice): the Wounded Warrior Project, or SafeHaven Women’s Shelter.
A celebration of life for Paul will be held Friday, September 10, 2021,12:00 PM at 121 Community Church, 2701 Ira E. Woods Ave, Grapevine, TX 76051.
