Ralph Martin Caster

Ralph M. Caster, 83, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014. He was born May 30, 1931 in Irving, Texas, the son of William and Liddie Smith Caster of Irving, Texas. Ralph worked as a Construction Engineer for many years. He enjoyed fixing and building things, tinkering with cars and fishing. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Irving. Ralph and Kathryn (Kitty) Hauk were united in marriage on December 9, 1955. She preceded him in death on May 8, 1992. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, George Caster, Buck Caster, John Caster and Huitt Caster. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Kathy Ashton and husband Triss of McAllen, Sharon Allen of Fort Worth, Tina Patterson and husband Dean of Southlake and Brenda Hodges of Port Orange, FL; son, Jim Caster of Kopperl; grandchildren, Kevin Ashton, Brad Allen, Curtis Allen, Dustin Allen, Eric Allen, Michael Patterson, Daniel Patterson, Sheena Moore, Vanessa Hodges, Heather Booth and Keith Caster; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Allen of Irving, Mary Rickett of Fort Worth, and Eileen Houck and husband Art of Irving; brother, Charlie Caster and wife Mary of Mena, Arkansas a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10am to noon at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home chapel.
