

Rebecca (Becky) Jane Witt, 72 years of age, of Fort Worth, Texas left this earth and into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 5 at 5:55Pm and today she is dancing with joy in paradise.
She is survived by her husband Gene Witt, her son Michael Witt and his wife Jessica, also Grandkids Gavin Witt, Liam Witt and Chandler Witt, Sister, Laura Johnson and her husband Ron. Nieces and nephews, Aulbry, Greg, Ashley, Jeff, Julie and Jay. She is also survived her Uncle Jack Hendley and wife Zelda as well as cousins and many friends from over the years where she served as a pastor’s wife.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Betty Pierce and her step dad John Wells along with her grandparents Bob and Mary King.
Becky was a retired school teacher with a large heart for kids, most of all her own grandkids, which she prayed for each day.
She enjoyed making crafts. She made caps one year for new born babies at one of the local hospitals. She also made caps for two local coffee shops and for each student in her daughter-in-law’s classroom. These were all gifts from her heart.
Becky also expressed her spiritual gift of giving in many ways over the years, most recently sending out messages of encouragement to over a hundred individuals daily.
Memorial service with reception to follow, Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 am at Compass Church~Colleyville Campus, 2600 Hall-Johnson Road, Colleyville, TX 76034.
