

Graveside services will commence at 11:00 am Wednesday morning at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 630-830 pm Tuesday evening in the parlour of JE Foust and Son Funeral Home 523 S Main Street, Grapevine, Texas.
Rickey was born September 23, 1945 in Fort Worth, TX and grew up not far from there in the small town of Newark, Texas. He attended Northwest High School in Justin, TX and was a member of the class of 1963. Rickey was drafted in 1968 by the US Army and served until 1970 when he was honorably discharged. Upon leaving the Army he went to work for GTE from 1970 until retirement in 1996. During this time, he worked hard to provide for his family.
Rickey had many hobbies including wood working, gardening and collecting miniature replicas of antique cars. He was a jack of all trades and could repair anything that needed to be fixed. Rickey had a great sense of humor and always had something witty to say. He enjoyed listening to country and western music and watching old western movies and TV shows.
He is survived by his son Tommy Brown of Lewisville, TX; daughters Lauri Larson and husband Christian of Lewisville, TX and Sondra Barnard of Dangerfield, TX; grandchildren, Justus, Jakob, and Jordyn Brown, Trever, Treyten, and Trinity Larson, Jennifer Stegall, Ceselie Tobin; great grandson Bryce Stegall; sisters Sandra Surface of Great Bend, KS and Deborah Love of Quincy, IL; sister-in-law Becky Crouch of Maywood, MO; brothers Terry Brown of Alva, OK, Mark Crouch and wife Deb of Mexico City, MO, Gary Crouch and wife Tee of Maywood, MO; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father Samuel Crouch Sr., mother Alice Willis, brother Samuel Crouch Jr., brother-in-law Darrell Surface, and granddaughter Tressa Larson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that you sign the online guest book by leaving your favorite memory, funniest memory, or fondest memory about Rickey so that the memories and stories can be collected and made into a book in order to cherish his memory forever.
