

He was born in Eugene, Oregon, to the late Harold & Nan Ladd. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara, his 4 children, and 7 grandchildren.
Bob was a United States Air Force Captain. He was a Captain at American Airlines, where his career spanned 30+ years, culminating as Manager of Simulator Evaluation , where he helped design and then accept the first simulators at AA. He continued to pursue aviation and lent his expertise at CAE after retirement from AA.
Bob was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast, loved flying, camping, hiking, and ministry work. He was passionate about his beautiful wife, whom he met in the Air Force, where she was a nurse, his loving children, and treasured grandchildren. He always said, “Whatever you do in life, do it to the best of your ability.” He encouraged his grandchildren to remember to put Jesus first in their lives.
Bob’s favorite scripture was “ I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me,” as well as Psalm 23.
He was a main of faith, of strength, and of integrity.
The Memorial Service will be held at National Cemetary, Thursday, October, 13, at 10:00 AM. Family and personal colleagues of Bob are invited to attend.
