Cherishing his memory are wife of over 38 years Jill Gavora of Colleyville, TX; daughter Catherine Reyenga and husband Colin of Keller, TX; brothers Michael Gavora of Fort Worth, TX and Gary Gavora and wife Teresita of Atlanta, GA; numerous extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Christopher Gavora; mother Connie Gavora and father Martin Gavora.
Bill proudly served 27 years in the United States Army, as an Army Aviator and retired as a Colonel. After retirement he moved on to work at L3 Link Training and Simulation for 12 years.
Bill's interests included a passion for baseball (Go Yankees!), traveling, and wine and cooking. He achieved his level II sommelier in 2019. He enjoyed most of all spending time with his family.
A memorial service with full military honors will be 2:00pm, Friday April 26, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Grapevine, 301 E. Texas St., Grapevine, TX 76051.
