Winona Simpson

Winona Simpson was born October 5, 1934 in Goldthwaite, TX to Claude & Clura Lawson and passed away October 23, 2018 in Grapevine, TX. Winona is preceded in death by husband, Harold Kent Simpson Sr., daughter, Janice Simpson and sister, Lovena Best. She is survived by children: Harold Kent Simpson Jr., Pamela Simpson, Randall Simpson and Jana Simpson Kuehler; grandchildren: Jenny Flower, Savannah Sepulveda; Mason Kuehler, Sophia Kuehler, Eden Kuehler, Chloe Simpson, Zachary Simpson, 4 great-grandchildren and sister Gerene Wingard. Winona loved life and people and was always active, whether it was quilting, spending time with her friends in the 36 Club or participating at Rockhaven Church. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. The most treasured part of her life was her family. Winona’s presence will be greatly missed.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home in Grapevine. Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2018 in Big Spring, TX.
