He was the son of Stan and Lorraine Beals and the brother of Steven Beals, who predeceased him.
He is survived by his brother Dean Beals, Dean’s husband Stan Pogroszewski, as well as Robert McBrien, Steven’s partner, Robert’s husband Brian Bendlin, and the wonderful Polidore family who cared for Andy for over thirty years.
Andy loved surfing, music, and a great hamburger—simple joys that reflected his easygoing spirit.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at New Montefiore Cemetery (1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704).
