I am shocked and saddened to learn of Barbara’s passing.
We were very close frenemies. We loved each other, but became competitive over boys in high school and went out separate ways.  How silly
It’s hard to know that Barbara has left the room permanently😰
I will always carry her memory in my heart.
May her memory forever be a blessing

From the time Barbara first walked into Miss Hopkins 7th grade homeroom at Great Neck North in 1959, she captivated my heart and the hearts of more boys than she would ever imagine. The warmest personality, the sweetest smile and the most caring heart. Barbara was a close friend for sixty years.  She was stoic in accepting life's difficulties and losses and upbeat in facing life's challenges. Personally, I am deeply saddened; a princess has left us too soon.
