

It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Feldman Zimmerman, aged 97, announces her passing on July 28, 2024, at her home in Boca Raton, Florida. She died peacefully, surrounded by family.
Beverly was born October 22, 1926, in New York City, to Lillian and Murray Feldman. She was a resident of Lawrence, New York for many years and later resided in Boca Raton, Florida with her daughter and son-in-law.
Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Beverly attended Shore Road Academy, the Packer Collegiate Institute and Barnard College.
Beverly was married in 1946 to Robert Zimmerman, an interior designer. They were married for 53 years until his passing in 1997. The two met at the Atlantic Beach Hotel in Atlantic Beach, New York while Robert was on leave from the US Army Air Force. They were married soon after his return from overseas.
A loving wife, homemaker and family matriarch, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing with her husband and playing canasta with friends, most of whom she had known since her days at the Atlantic Beach Hotel.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lifland and her son-in-law Thomas Lifland, two grandchildren, Michael Lifland married to Robyn Lifland, and Jessica Lifland married to Darragh Caffrey, and two Great-grandchildren, Rose Lifland and Katie Caffrey.
The funeral will be held graveside on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the New Montefiore Cemetery - 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, New York 11704. For those unable to attend but who wish to join virtually there will be a Zoom link available.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 pm onward at Michael and Robyn’s home.

Donna, Tom, Michael, Robyn, Jessica, Darragh, Rose, and Katie will miss her terribly. “We have been so lucky to have her for so long, but today our world is just a little less bright.
