Cecile Fishman, age 94, of Floral Park, New York passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Cecile was born in Poland in her mothers' homeland. She left Germany to come to America in 1938. Brooklyn, New York, became her new home. In later years she became president of the Nassau County chapter of Women's American ORT.
Cecile was the beloved wife of the late Saul Fishman, the devoted mother of Howard (Roberta) and Robert (Judy), the cherished grandmother of Justin (Heather), Brandon (Chelsea), Jessie (Matt) and Peter and adored great-grandmother of Leah and Scout. She is also survived by her loving brother, Sol Lesh (the late, Diane) and sister, Sadie Frank (the late, Murray) and many nieces and nephews.
A chapel service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Nassau North Chapels, 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY 11021 followed by interment at Mt. Ararat Cemetery, 1165 NY-109, Lindenhurst, NY 11757.
