Jack Berger

BERGER - Jack Died peacefully at home at the age of 102. He was a "kibbitzer and mensch extraordinaire" loved by all who knew him. Loving, devoted father to Susan (Sidney) Krugman and Alice (David) Brand. Adored grandfather to Stephanie and Alex Krugman, Ian Brand and Annick Brand (Matthew Feigenbaum). Great-grandfather to Atticus, Harlan and C.J. Predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Miriam (Wein). Born on The Lower East Side and raised in Williamsburg until moving to Little Neck in 1953. He was a WW II Army Air Corps veteran.Jack was an accomplished photo retoucher during "The Mad Men" era. Founding member of The Gezunters Club at The Sid Jacobson JCC.
