Lawrence Rose

ROSE--Lawrence H., 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Great Neck, NY on September 17, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years Bobbie and his brother, David R. Rose. He will be deeply missed by his children, Lynne, Kenneth (Debra), Laurie (John D. Thomas) and Linda, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his late wife Frances and sons, David S. and Steven M. Rose, Geoffrey R.S. Brown and Curtis S. Breslin. A graduate of The City College of New York and Brooklyn Law School, he was a practicing CPA for nearly 60 years and served as past President of the Great Neck School Board. Larry's celebration of life, his love and devotion to family and intellectual curiosity were apparent to all. His generous spirit, keen mind and zest for life endeared him to a vast network of friends and family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20 at 10:30am at Temple Emanuel, 150 Hicks Lane, Great Neck. NY.
