Lazarus Travis and arlene have given me a wonderful life. 
I am always grateful. 
And give thanks regularly.

Dad passed in his sleep, peacefully on May 4, 2021

A loving husband,  outstanding father and grandfather, Larry started with nothing and end up with a great life.    A dedicated textile engineer, dad advanced the use of synthetic fibers in luggage, uniforms and other industrial applications

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Larry over came the loss of his father at 3 years old, was raised with the help of his Aunt Francis and enlisted to fight in the Korean War

His Uncle Dave hired him into Travis Fabrics in the 1950’s, and the rest is history

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Arlene Carey Travis of Malden MA.

He is survived by sons Steven (Robin) and Peter (Edwena) and grandchildren.  Tyler, Nicole Dustin and Daniel
