Beck, Leon 101 years old, died on July 13, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Miriam. Devoted father of Meryl Menashe and her husband Jack. Cherished grandfather of Kim and Jamie, and Jason and Stephanie. Loving great grandfather of Jaden, Alana and Zachary. He was a Holocaust fighter and a Holocaust survivor. Funeral services Monday July 16, 2012 at 10:00am, at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, 55 North Station Plaza, (Opp. LIRR), Great Neck, New York. Interment to follow at New Montefiore Cemetery, Pinelawn, New York. Shiva will be observed at the residence of his daughter, Meryl Menashe - 2 Spring Lane, Great Neck, New York, on Monday immediately following the interment and on Tuesday from 12noon till the evening.
