WERFEL KREFSKY--Mildred, 84 years old, died on January 4, 2014. Millie was a fighter for community and charitable causes. With her husband Abraham Werfel, Millie was a member of the Board of Directors of the Queens Speech and Hearing Center at Queens College. Millie was a member of the Engineer's Country Club and Polo Club. She is survived by her two children Michael Mauerstein and Lynn Mauerstein Blocker, her two grandchildren Steven and Amie Blocker and her husband Sidney Krefsky. Services Sunday January 5, 2014 at 1:30pm at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, 55 North Station Plaza (opposite LIRR), Great Neck, NY. Interment to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Glendale, New York.
