A devoted Wife, Mother, Safta, and Friend she cared for everyone she held dear. She was born on April 17th, 1937 in Israel and witnessed the Independence of the nation as a child. She emigrated as a 17 year old to New York. After getting married and having three children; she went back to school and graduated from Queens College. She got a job working for Nassau County starting in Social Services, but eventually retired as a probation officer after 20 years.
She was the beloved wife to Mike, the best mother of Richard, Glenn and Denise, a proud Safta to Jordan, Dylan, Max, Shanna, Mia, Rachel and Adam. She was loved by her In-laws and friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, intelligence, deep love of the arts, crossword puzzles and of course, Jeopardy.
A chapel service will be held at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, located at 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY 11021, on July 1st, 2025, at 11 am.
