Patricia Maragliano

Patricia Ann (“Patti”) Maragliano, 52, the kindest person in the whole world, passed away on May 29, 2026. Born on January 8, 1974, Patti resided in South Huntington, New York. She is survived by her beloved children, James and Cassandra Lopoulos, and her long-term partner, Kyle Halperin. Patti is also survived by her mother, her siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Patti was a devoted mother, partner, and friend. Her children were her whole world, and they embody the best of who she was. Patti was deeply committed to her work as a dental hygienist, a profession she adored and at which she excelled, and she was cherished by patients and colleagues, alike. Patti proudly served as the State Administrator of Ms. New York Senior America from 2024 to 2025. Patti was a gifted opera singer, with a passion for music and musical theater. Patti will be forever remembered for her love of life, her extraordinary grace, optimism, kindness, humor, a natural ability to make friends everywhere she went, and a smile that lit up every room. A chapel service will be held at I.J. Morris, 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746 on May 31, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Mount Ararat Cemetery, 1165 NY-109, Lindenhurst, NY 11757 on May 31, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shiva arrangements will be announced at the service.
