REUTER--Peter J., Roslyn NY, 86, engineer and entrepreneur died peacefully at home, December 26. Born in Germany, Peter emigrated to the United States in 1940. He earned an engineering degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from New York University. He co-founded Trygon Electronics, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Edith (nee Dolinko), his daughter, Susan Reuter and her husband, Roger Spingarn, two granddaughters, Abi and Leah, stepsons, Steven and Neal Shupak, sister, Ann (Helft) and her sons, John and Ralph and their families. A private burial will be held in Bennington, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to NYU at giving.poly.edu.
