Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ronald Bruno Rinke, passed away on August30th, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 16th, 1944, in New York City toHerman and Meta Rinke. Ronald was a Sergeant in the Army’s Military Police during theVietnam War for 2 years, followed by a devoted life to his family and friends. Ronald was a poet, and loved books and reading throughout his life, working in the New York City Public Library, managing a book warehouse in NYC, and an office supply store in Port Washington. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nomi Rinke; his daughters Laurie Rinke Langworthy and Michelle Rinke Wallace; his son Michael Rinke; and 3 children-in-law and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Riverside-Nassau North Chapel in Great Neck, NY on Tuesday September 1, 2026, at 1PM. The family invites friends to share memories and celebrate a life lived to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the New York City Public Library and/or Memorial Sloan Kettering.
