Sheryl K. Yarmus

Born on April 8, 1954, in Queens, New York, Sheryl spent her childhood in Great Neck with her parents, Louis and Gladys Kramer, and her brothers, Alan and Joel.

A devoted wife to Scott, and beloved mother to Russell and Melissa, Sheryl’s greatest joy was her family. An avid traveler, Sheryl’s favorite tradition was vacationing in Aruba with her family. She could always be found reading on the beach or laying on a float in the ocean. She was the anchor of her family- known for her unconditional love, support and guidance.

Beyond being a loving mother and wife, Sheryl was an active and joyful presence among her friends. She spent countless hours on the golf course perfecting her swing, and she loved playing canasta, pickleball, and taking long walks filled with laughter and conversation. Her warmth, generosity, and sense of fun touched everyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, located at 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY, 11021, on November 9, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The committal service will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery, located at 130-04 Horace Harding Expy, New York, NY, 11367, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the same day.

In lieu of flowers, the Yarmus family requests donations be made to Lustgarten Foundation in honor of Sheryl.
