A great man.  In the late 1960's my father and Billy were partners in NYC building.  He would come to Jets games with us and take us flying.  He and Carol were at my Bar Mitzvah   As a young lawyer he introduced me to my future partner.  He was always a Mensch and I will never forget him.  My deepest condolences to his family. Words cannot express or describe the feelings of sadness that I personally feel and I’m sure all that knew Bill are feeling at this time an I’m sure when we all reflect will for ever feel.
He was definitely a one of a kind human being and extraordinary loving person to his family and friends 
He was most definitely someone who would give the soundest advice on anything you asked of him as he was an all rounder and inspiration to me personally and he will always be remembered for his kindness and integrity.

I go back 52 years of knowing the Achenbaum Family. Ilene was my first friend at age 2 & our families became close friends. The passing of Billy is an instant loss to his family & friends. I will always remember Billy for his generosity & fun moments we shared. My heartfelt condolences to the Achenbaum & Oliver families

Today the world is a very different place, and not for the better. Bill deserved at least another 88 years because of his great value as a husband, father, grandfather, for all of  his family, friends & his employees. He made a lot of people’s lives way better, mine for sure. Rest in peace Bill we will all be together again one day. See you on the back stretch.
