

Alice G. Rogers, 94, of LaSalle, died February 28, 2013 at Centennial Health Care Center. She was born August 26, 1918 in Candler, North Carolina to James and Florence (Pressley) McCarson. Alice married Ralph Rogers on October 15, 1966 in Greeley.
Alice grew up in North Carolina and moved to Colorado in July 1952. She worked as an inspector for Bayley Manufacturing in Greeley. Alice was a “Southern Belle”, who took great pride in her appearance. She was not only beautiful, but classy. Her care takers at Centennial called her Ms. North Carolina due to her continued beauty and charm. Her great laugh will be dearly missed. Alice enjoyed flower gardening and yard work. She was an amazing cook, biscuits and gravy were her specialty.
Alice is survived by her daughter Barbara Ambrose (Phillip) of LaSalle; sister Jeanette Rogers of North Carolina; brothers Joe McCarson and David McCarson (Phyllis) all of Candler North Carolina; two grandchildren, Rick Osborn (Nancy) of Cedar City, Utah and Holly Osborn (Tim Thissen) of Greeley; 9 great grandchildren, Alyson, Amy and Siena Osborn of Cedar City, Utah, Brenden Lee of Lincoln, Nebraska, Kenny and Ciara Monfort of Greeley and Destri, Darian and Diamond Guerrero of Greeley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph in May 1982; granddaughter, Victoria Monfort; three sisters, Bertha Godfrey, Electa Clark and Orva Lee Warren; three brothers, Lewis McCarson, Jack McCarson and Harold McCarson.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
