Alice Trujillo, 85, of Windsor passed away peacefully at Windsor Health Care Center on Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born June 23, 1935 in Abuelo, New Mexico to Estephan and Getrudes (Espinosa) Trujillo. She married Antonio “Tony” Trujillo on June 25, 1951 in Mora, New Mexico.
Alice is survived by sons, Tony Jr. (Sally) Trujillo, Clarence (Esther) Trujillo and Sammy Trujillo; daughters, Rosie Trujillo, Shirley (David) Martinez and Susan (Ruben) Hinojosa; brother, Paul Trujillo; sister, Emma Trujillo; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend to all.
Alice enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, embroidering, and sewing. She made her daughters dresses when they were small. Her best of her cooking was her fried chicken, green and red chili and her homemade tortillas. She helped drive trucks of corn and beets in season. She worked the Club Café, a dry cleaners and three decades at Windsor Health Care in Housekeeping and Laundry Department, becoming the Laundry Supervisor. She had a strong faith in God and would never go to bed until she said her prayer.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony, parents, two brothers, and her sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th Street Windsor, Co 80550. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Co 80634.
