He was born on October 13, 1946 in Greeley Colorado to Alfonso and Maggie Lujan.
Alkie is survived by his wife Martina Lujan of 34 years, 2 sons Robert (Erica), Nathan, 3 daughters Mindy (Reuben), Erica, and Heidi, 23 grandchildren, 4 brothers JR, Sam, David, Bernie, 4 sisters Ann, Carmen, Mary, Esther.
Alkie is loved by many others and has touched many hearts. He was a very loving, hardworking man who loved to make others laugh. He was a devoted father and husband to his family. He enjoyed doing for his kids and grandkids. Who referred to him as “Bunny”. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed competing in horseshoe tournaments with his partner Larry Lujan - nephew who took first place several times with pride. Alkie enjoy woodworking on this spare time.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Jerry, Lupe, Michael, Ben.
Visitation will be held at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley, CO., on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Linn Grove Cemetery followed by a reception at the Evans City Park.
