Althea was born in South Dakota on January 17, 1924 to Albert and Emma (Jucht) Voigt. She grew up on a farm, and later moved to Minneapolis with her sister. This is where she met her husband, Arthur Siverson. Althea and Arthur moved to Fort Collins in 1956, where she was a homemaker and raised three sons. They were married for 58 years, until his passing in 2006.
Althea held strong to her Christian beliefs and that brought comfort and peace to her and her family.
Althea was a huge sports fan, which started in her youth playing high school basketball. She loved following all the Colorado professional sports teams, but particularly the Broncos. Althea and Arthur held Broncos season tickets for 25 years!
Althea is survived by her sons: Doug (Kathryn) Siverson, Roger (Sondra) Siverson and Wayne Siverson; as well as her granddaughter, Alexandra, and Zach Farrell.
Althea was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
