Born in Greeley, Alyiah was an online student attending the Colorado Early Colleges. She was a member of the Hope Center Church in Johnstown. She was a recipient turned volunteer of the B.A.B.Y. Foundation.
Alyiah wanted to be a Veterinarian, she loved watching Vet shows, especially Dr. Pol. She had a heart for all her animals, especially her beloved pets, Rocky and Mistletoe. She enjoyed photography, baking and driving; she especially loved to run equipment on the farm. Like any teenage girl, she delighted in makeup, doing her hair and getting her nails done. She was experienced in candle and soap making and she adored music. She loved all things Disney and dreamed of going to Disney World. Her favorite Disney characters were Minnie Mouse and Cruella.
Alyiah is survived by her parents, Clifton and Lyndsey; her brother Nickolas Long; grandparents, David and Linda Bernhardt, Kevin Long, and Brian and Corrie Wilkinson; great-grandparents, Ted and Eula Beeson, Uncles and Aunts; Ladonna Johnson, Josh and Julia Long, Nathan and Summer Thoreson, Kent and Jerilyn Long, Tim and Mena Bernhardt, Steve and Charlene Michaels, Willy and Geina Hopkins, Jeff and Danna Dudley, Wes and Melody Couch, Mike and Shelly Nowlen, Josh and Kristi King and Nathanael Arais, Jesse and Nicky Murray, along with numerous cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Allnutt Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado, from 5:00-7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at Allnutt Macy Chapel at 11:00 am. Burial at Johnstown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The B.A.B.Y Foundation in Alyiah’s name.
