

Ann M. Baca, 79, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 at The Bridge of Greeley. She was born on August 18, 1946, in Johnstown, Colorado, to Joseph and Lucille (Marquis) Baca.
One of seven children, Ann grew up in a loving and close-knit family. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and began her long career at State Farm Insurance the same year, 1964, as an underwriting service assistant specialist. Her dedication and work ethic led to a successful 46-year career before she retired in 2010.
Ann had a sharp mind and attention to detail in her job and a kind and generous heart. She was an avid Denver Nuggets fan and also enjoyed cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and eventually the Colorado Rockies. Her enthusiasm and loyalty extended beyond teams—she was deeply devoted to her family and her faith. Post retirement she also enjoyed time spent with her co-workers which were her “State Farm Sisters”.
She is survived by her brothers, Ted Baca, James Baca, Richard Baca, and Robert Baca. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucille; her brother, Lawrence Baca; and her sister, Cynthia Reynolds.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., both at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave, Greeley, Colorado 80634. Committal will follow at Johnstown Cemetery.
Ann will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life.
