Avelino Guerrero Burrola

Avelino was a truck driver for Martin Produce for many years. Avelino enjoyed Tex-Mex music and would listen to his album collection, watch taped performances or attend a live performance. He enjoyed reading regularly and shared what he learned with everyone. He enjoyed playing WordUp with his sisters sharing his sense of humor. He spent many summers traveling through Texas visiting family and friends. He also traveled through California, South Dakota, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.

Avelino is survived by his wife, Aurora Burrola, Daughter, Gloria Burrola (partner, Max Martinez Jr.), Son, David Burrola (partner, Lori Winter), and Son, Victor Burrola (wife, Cynthia). He was blessed to have grandchildren, Granddaughter, Katara Burrola (partner, Zach Delancey), Grandsons, Jacob Burrola, Noah Burrola, Benjamin Burrola, Joaquin Vera, and Marcus Vera. He was blessed to have one great-grandchild, Auroralin Gianna Burrola Delancey.

Avelino is survived by his siblings, Brothers, Pablo Burrola Jr., Juan Burrola (wife, Yolanda), and Delfino Hernandez, Sisters, Odilia Ledezma, Manuela Davis, Lupe Martinez (husband, Arnold), Judy Zabka (husband, Gerald), and Francis Garcia (husband, Jake), and many nieces and nephews.

The viewing and rosary will be held at Stoddard Funeral & Cremation located at 3205 W 28th St, Greeley, CO 80634 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The church service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026. The reception will be held immediately after the church service at 12:00PM at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. The burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W 28th St, Greeley, CO 80634 at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Our family appreciates everyone who took the time to visit Avelino during his last days. There were many special moments that included laughter and tears. Avelino meant a lot to his family and friends. He will be missed.
